Open Invitation!!!!

Denise Fenton, Myself, and Chrytal Robbs (Denises' friend) are starting a womens bible study!! I am so excited to get started. It will be held on Tuesdays from 6p.m. to 8p.m. and it is open to anyone who would like to come!!! It will be held at the Mercantile Center in Mt. Olive. As of right now we will have either a scripture or some kind of devotional to read throughout the week and reflect on, then on Tuesday when we meet we will talk about it and how we felt, or any feelings on the topic. Nothing very formal just a night to get together with other women and God! As of now there are only about 4 of us going but we would like to open this up to the community and anyone who would like to come. We are hoping through this that we can bring women to God and strenghten our own faith and the faith of others!! EVERYONE IS INVITED!!! :) If you have ANY questions please let me know!!!!!

Work Work Work

I have finally finished school, after a year and a half, and I am now working in my profession as a cosmetologist. As I was going through school and nearing the end, I could not wait to start working and doing hair. Well here I am... working at doing hair. I have only had my job for about a month and already it seems to be getting old, NOT because I don't like doing hair, but becuase I feel that I made a poor scheduling choice.... I feel like I am not at home enough and I am scared that my husband and kids are suffering because of it... :(

I find myself questioning the fact that I do not stay at home with them and play with them and take care of them and our house...(which definaly could stand for a bit more time spent on it). I have been contemplating some ideas for a couple of days now, probably a week, wether to tell the owner of the salon that I am working at that I am going to have a schedule change, or if I should stick it out for oh.. maybe about a year or so and build somewhat of a cilentele before I make the schedule change. But a year?!?! That is a long time and a lot of childhood memeories that I feel that I will be missing out on...

As of now I work Tues. - Fri. 10 am - 7pm and Sat. 9-2
Another thing that is holding me back from just telling her that I won't be there as much, I have already made business cards stating my hours.... :( Also if I wait it out and build somewhat of a clientele, then when I do make a schedule change, I can schedule my clients all on the days that I will be working and be busy all day. But like most things, it takes time to build a clientele. I also think I am a little scared to face my boss and tell her... I think that she will be dissapointed

I just can't help but think all the things that I am missing out on while my children are growing up...

Advice, comments, questions, words of wisdom... ALL WELCOME!!!!

Pizza... or maybe not

So I never really though much of blogging... now that I have one I'm LOVIN IT!!!!! :) I was lovin' it so much that last night I was exploring on it and finding out all the cool stuff you can do with it, I had some free time, Ryder was sleeping and Addi went with Zach to run a quick errand while dinner (frozen pizza, if that is considered dinner or not I dont know:)) was cooking... anyway I was editing my page, looking at other peoples blogs for about 15-20 minutes, I dont know exactly, until I gasped and stood up, RAN to the kitchen, only to find a brown and black pizza!!! OH NO!!!!

A little about me and my wonderful family....

My name is Jill Fenton, I am a cosmetologist and work in my hometown. My husband, Zach, is a carpenter. We have two beautiful children, Addisyn Paige age 2 going on 10!!! :) And Ryder Forrest Tayler who is 7 months.

I beleive that Zach and I have now opened a new chapter in our lives. We have given our lives and our family to the Lord. Are there words to describe how amazing that feels??? Not that either of us weren't for the Lord before, we both grew up in Christian homes, we were just lost for a while. By the Grace of God, we have found Him again!!! Halleluja!! AMEN!!!! :) And for good this time.

Right now we are in the middle of remodeling our home. It has been a rollercoaster ride from day 1!! We started this project about one year ago, and now nearing completion with only two rooms left to finish in the house. As hard as this journey has been for the both of us, I am thankful for it.
